29/12/2013 : Annual function: The Annual function of year 2013 of our organization was held on the 29th of December, 2013 at Vikalang Kanya Kunj. Binduben K Vekariya , Mr. Ramnik D. Chhadava of Navjivan Nature C are Center, Punddi, Mr. Manojbhai Solanki of Shriram Minerals, Madhapar, Mr. Pankajbhai Mehta , President   Kachchh District BJP, Mr. Jayantbhai K. Madhapariya , Member, Dist. Panchayat), Mrs. Hanshaben Solanki , Sarpanch, Junavas, Mr. Arajanbhai Bhudia , Sarpanch,Navavas, Mr. Hiteshbhai Khandol , Member, Taluka Panchayat, Bhuj, Mr. Nileshbhai Chauhan , Member, Taluka Panchayat, Bhuj, Mr. Kishor Nardani , Friends of Kera , were the eminent guests. 28/12/2013 : Sports Meet 2013 (Kera) . A Sports Meet of differently abled persons, sponsored by Friends of Kera (U.K.), was held on the Kapil Kot Ground in K era on 28th December 2013.1332 differently abled persons participated in 90 events such as 100 meters r ace, shot put, discus throw, long and high jump, wheelchair and tricycle race etc. They enjoyed the competition and played with sportsmen spirit and great enthusiasm . Swami Dharmanandji of Shri Swami N arayan Temple B huj & office bearers of the Shri Leva Patel Samaj in a ug u r a ted the meet by receiving torch of the march past. General Secretary of our organization Mr. Laljibhai Prajapati gave information about the organization. Mr. Arvind Halai of GXI, Mr. Kishorbhai Nardani, Mr. Gansyambhai Nardani a nd other Members of Friends of Kera (UK), Trustees of Shree Navchetan Andhjan Mandal Mr. Zinabhai Dabasiya, Nanjibhai Dabasiya, Mr. Karsanbhai Varsani, Mr. Himanshu Sompura and staff remain ed present. 12/12/2013 : Inter district (zonal) Cricket tournament for the visually impaired persons . Inter district (zonal) Level cricket tournament for visually impaired was held at Mandavi with the support of Andh Apang Manav Kalyan Society Mandavi . Teams of Banaskantha, Sabarkantha & Kachchh districts participated in the competition. Teams of Banaskantha qualified for semi finals in both groups (Under 18 & Above 18) State coordinator of Special Khel Maha Kumbh (V I ) Mr. Tarak Luhar , along with Assistant Secretary of our organization Mr. Himanshu Sompura & trustee Mr. Muljibhai Dabasiya attended   the opening ceremony.

08/12/2013 : Swami Viv e kanand music competition for visually impaired. As the part of celebration of the birth anniversary of Swami Viv e kanand, a district level music competition was held at Vikalang Vidy a Vihar. 58 visually impaired persons participated in classical music, semi classical & patriotic song category. Winners of the competition will be given cash prizes by the S tate government.  

07 to 08/12/2013 :   Khel Maha Kumbh for Orthopaedic Handicapped persons. “Special Khel Maha Kumbh” , a sports competition for Persons with disabilities was organized simultaneously with the mainstream “Khel Maha Kumbh” by the Government of Gujarat to promote sporting culture in youth. Such an event for orthopaedic handicapped persons was organized at Sarvoday Sport Center , Madhapar.   219 orthopaedic handicapped    persons participated in cricket & athletic events. Mr. Arjanbhai Bhudiya , Sarpanch, Nava v as , Mr. Jayantbhai Madhapariya , Member, Dist Panchayat , & Trustees of our organization inaugurated cricket tournament by tossing the coin. While Mrs. Hansaben Solanki, Sarpanch Juna v as , inaugurated athletics by receiving the torch of march past. 45 winners of this competition participated in state level competitions held at Ahmedabad & Porbandar. 01/12/2013 : Khel Maha Kumbh for Visually Impaired. Khel Maha Kumbh , a district level sport meets for Visually Impaired was jointly hosted by Shree Navchetan Andhjan Mandal Madhapar & Vikalang Jivan Vikas Mandal at Nani Khakher. 174 Visually Impaired persons participated in 31 games such as 100 M eter Race Shot Put, Discus throw, chess etc.. Assistant Secretary of our organization Mr. Himanshu Sompura, Trustees Mr. Muljibhai Dabasiya, Mr. Hirjibhai Hirani, Mr. Khimjibhai Vekariya along with staff attended the opening function. The winner will be given cash prizes. 9 Visually impaired winners Participated at Palanpur for state level competitions..

30 /1 1 /2013: Special Khel Maha Kumbh for Mentally challenged persons. With the Support of Special Olympic committee Kachchh a sport meet for mentally challenged person under the “Khel Maha Kumbh” organized at GT ground Mandavi.   350 athletes participated in 60 events such as swimming, roller skating, power lifting, bochi,   participate in State level Competitions .

30/ 11 /2013 : District Level Cricket for Visually Impaired. A district level cricket tournament for the visually impaired persons under Khel Maha Kumbh was organized at Mandavi with the support of “Aandh Aapang Manav Kalyan Society, Mandavi. 4 teams of district participated and demonstrated how the blind can play cricket. Team of Andh Apang Manav Kalyan Society was a winner and qualified for inter district tournament.
