⩥ 26/04/2023: Cultural program at Gandhidham
The cultural program “Ek Sham divyango ke naam” was a beautiful display of talent and inclusivity. It was heartening to see more than 50 disabled boys and girls from Divyang Vidhya Vihar, Divyang Kanyakunj and ITC/DRC come together to perform musical songs, dances, and mono acting in front of a large audience of over 500 people in Gandhidham.
The event was jointly organized by Kutchmitra newspaper and
Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal Madhapar at the Ambedkar convention Centre. The
presence of Mrs. Nimaben Acharya, former speaker of Gujarat assembly, and Mrs.
Maltiben Maheshwari, MLA, added to the grandeur of the event.
The
program was a testament to the fact that disability is not a hindrance to
talent. The performances were awe-inspiring, and it was evident that the
participants had put in a lot of effort and dedication to showcase their
skills.
The
event was attended by several dignitaries, including Ishitaben Tilwani, Nandish
Shukla, Babubhai Humbal, Sureshbhai Gupta, C Harishchandra, Lalit Dalwani,
Shaileshbhai Kansara (manager of Kachchh Mitra), Nikhilbhai Pandya, Mukeshbhai
Dholakia, Husainbhai Vohra, Vice President of the organization Mr. Hiralal
Chawla, General Secretary Mr. Laljibhai Prajapati, Secretary Himanshu Sompura
& Vanrajsinh Jadeja and Treasurer Zinabhai Dabasiya.

encourage the talents of those who are often marginalized in our society. The
cultural program “Ek Sham divyango ke naam” was a resounding success, and we
hope to see more such events in the future.
