֎ 18/10/2024 TO 21/10/2024 : NATIONAL FOOTBALL COMPETITION FOR PARTIALLY VISUALLY IMPAIRED PLAYERS ORGANIZED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN INDIA

A total of 8 states of India participated in the Football Championship 2024 for Visually Impaired Players, which was played for four consecutive days from 18/10/2024 to 21/10/2024. In which the players showed their special talent for four consecutive days, the Tamil Nadu team won the first place and received a gold medal, trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 50,000/-. The Arunachal Pradesh team won the second place and received a silver medal, trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 30,000, while the Meghalaya team won the third place and received a bronze medal and trophy.

A closing ceremony was held at the end of the match to encourage and congratulate all the players. In which the guest Dr. Mukeshbhai Chande, Kutch District BJP President Shri Devjibhai Varchand, Former Kutch District Panchayat President Smt. Parulben Kara, Taluka Panchayat President Shri Vinodbhai Varsani, Bhuj Taluka Panchayat Vice President Shri Pravinaben Rathod, Editor of Kutchmitra Daily Shri Deepakbhai Mankad, Secretary of NAB Gujarat State Branch Shri Tarakbhai Luhar, Manager of State Bank of India Shri Kamleshbhai Dave, Chief Manager Shri Abhaybhai Pathak, Treasurer of AIBFA Shri Bharati Raja G.R., Trustee of Ramji Kanji Hirani Charitable Trust Shri Jadavjibhai Varsani were present. Manjibhai Patel, who broadcasted the championship live on the Pavitra Live YouTube channel, was specially honored with a check, shawl and memento by Secretary of Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal, Shri Himanshubhai Sompura and Treasurer Shri Zinabhai Dabasiya.

Referee International Blind Football Technical Delegate Mr. Loo Wai Keong, who served in the championship, was felicitated by State Bank of India Manager Shri Kamleshbhai Dave, Medical Classifier Mr. Balaji was felicitated by Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal Executive Member Mrs. Zarna Vyas, Pingol Pratik was felicitated by State Bank of India Chief Manager Shri Abhaybhai Pathak, Taluka Panchayat President Shri Vinodbhai Varsani, M. Kattapa was felicitated by Shri Nayanaben Goswami of Krishiv Foundation and C. Achyutkumar was felicitated by Shri Dimpleben Chhaya of Inner Wheel Club Capital Bhuj.

             At Divyang Vidhya Vihar, a Farewell & Best Wishes Program was held on February 25, 2023, for students in grades 10 and 12. The program featured speeches and gift presentations from key members of the organization, including General Secretary Mr. Laljibhai Prajapati, Secretary Mr. Himanshu Sompura, Treasurer Mr. Zinabhai Dabasiya, and Mr. Harjibhai Lachhani. Additionally, Chief Coordinator Mr. Deepak Prasad extended his well wishes to students for their upcoming board examinations.             The program was organized and conducted entirely by students of grade 12. During the event, students from both grade 10 and 12 shared their experiences and praised the school's facilities. Notably, two hearing-impaired girls delivered speeches in sign language, which were interpreted by another girl.

  Shri Navchetan Andhajan Mandal organized a gathering of its employees at Divyang Vidhya Vihar in Madhapar. The aim of the gathering was to bring together the staff and create a friendly atmosphere. The event was a great success, and all attendees had a wonderful time.            The highlight of the event was a speech by Swami Pradiptanand Saraswatiji, the founder of Arsh Sadhana Center.
