In a heartwarming display of patriotism and unity, the 77th Republic Day was celebrated with great fervor at Divyang Kanyakunj, bringing together over 400 disabled children, dedicated teachers, staff, and esteemed trustees for a memorable event.

The inspiring occasion saw a proud moment as a Para Olympian girl from Divyang Kanyakunj took the honor of hoisting the National Flag, symbolizing the indomitable spirit of determination and resilience. Mr. Laljibhai Prajapati, Secretary of the organization Mr. Himanshubhai Sompura, delivered a rousing speech, instilling motivation and inspiration among the attendees.

Adding to the emotional significance of the event, girls from Divyang Kanyakunj presented the National symbol and monument through touching posters and sign language, embodying their deep sense of pride and belonging.

As a poignant tribute to history, a two-minute silence was observed to honor the victims of the devastating 2001 earthquake, serving as a poignant reminder of resilience in the face of adversity.

The event was graced by the presence of Secretary Himanshu Sompura, Treasurer Mr. Zinabhai Dabasiya, Trustees Mr. Harjibhai Lachhani, Mr. Jadavjibhai Vekariya, Mr. apurvbhai Maheta, Mrs. Shilpaben Maheta, Chief Coordinator Mr. Dipakprasad, Coordinators, principals, teachers, staff, and students, creating an atmosphere of unity and camaraderie.

In another heartening display of national pride and respect for tradition, Republic Day was also celebrated at the Old Age Home in Bhachau. Here, elderly individuals were given the honor of hoisting the National Flag, a gesture that underscored their enduring connection to their homeland. Secretary Mr. Vanrajsinh Jadeja and dedicated staff were present to witness this touching moment of reverence and unity.

The celebrations at both Divyang Kanyakunj and the Old Age Home in Bhachau stand as powerful testaments to the unbreakable spirit of unity and patriotism that binds individuals across generations and backgrounds in the vibrant tapestry of India's rich heritage.
