֎ 08/03/2025: CELEBRATION OF INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY AT DIVYANG MAHILA VIKAS MANDAL - MADHAPAR, WITH AWARENESS ON HEALTH AND SAFETY FOR WOMEN

 

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, a special seminar was organized at Divyang Mahila Vikas Mandal, Madhapar, under the guidance of Navchetan Andhjan Mandal. The event aimed to raise awareness about breast cancer and cervical cancer, empowering both disabled and non-disabled women with vital health knowledge. Renowned expert Dr. Bhartiben Soni led the session, offering valuable insights into the early detection and prevention of breast cancer. She emphasized the importance of a healthy lifestyle, regular check-ups, and timely diagnosis in reducing health risks.

Women in attendance actively participated in an interactive Q&A session, where their doubts and concerns were addressed with care.

Beyond health awareness, the seminar also focused on women’s safety. Representatives from the C-Team of the Police Department – Naik Sheetalben, Ramilaben, and Gayatriben – shed light on the growing risks of cybercrime and shared Crucial tips on online safety and self-protection.

            The event was graced by esteemed members of the Divyang Mahila Mandal, including President Zaranaben Vyas, Secretary Rimaben Bhatia, and Treasurer Daxaben Bhudia. Their leadership, along with the dedicated efforts of Pratibhaben Sompura, Bhartiben Chavda, Ramilaben Prajapati, and Nehaben Dabasiya, ensured the program’s success.

With the participation of 65 women, the seminar proved to be an enriching and enlightening experience. Rimaben Bhatia skillfully anchored the event, while Jaranaben Vyas delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, marking a meaningful conclusion to the day’s celebrations.
