01-02-2026 TO 03-02-2026: OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE BY HEARING-IMPAIRED STUDENTS AT STATE-LEVEL SPECIAL KHEL MAHAKUMBH

 The students of Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal have once again brought laurels to the institution with their exceptional performance at the State-Level Special Khel Mahakumbh. Organized by the Sports Authority of Gujarat, the prestigious sporting event was held in Ahmedabad from February 1 to February 3, 2026, specifically for children with hearing disabilities.

            A dedicated contingent of 10 students from the Madhapar campus participated in the competition - 6 girls from the Divyang Kanyakunj and 4 boys from the Divyang Vidya Vihar. Their participation across various track and field events showcased the diverse athletic talent nurtured within the organization.



Athletic Disciplines

100-metre race, 200-metre race, 400-metre race, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, Discus Throw

 

            The success of the participants was bolstered by the dedicated guidance of their mentors. Teachers Krupaben Gor and Gitaben Bhatt accompanied the students throughout the event, providing essential coaching and encouragement that enabled them to perform at their highest potential on the state stage.

֎ 16/06/2024: ATHLETICS STATE LEVEL COMPETITION FOR THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED

            The Department of Sports, Youth, and Cultural Activities, along with the Sports Authority of Gujarat Gandhinagar, organized state-level special athletics competition under the Khel Mahakumbh. This event was jointly hosted by the District Sports Development office, Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal Madhapar, and Navchetan Divyang Sports and Cricket Academy at Krishna Sports Ground, Madhapar.           The Khel Mahakumbh featured special competitions across 29 districts in Gujarat, with approximately 450 visually impaired athletes participating. Competitions included events such as the 100-meter run, long jump, shot put, discus throw, and javelin throw for age groups above and below 18.
