11/01/2026 TO 13/01/2026: GUJARAT WOMEN’S GOALBALL TEAM WINS BRONZE AT NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

 

         The Fifth National Goalball Championship for visually impaired players was organized at Patliputra Stadium, Patna, by Indian Blind Sports Association (IBSA) and Goalball Federation of India (GFI).

            Representing Gujarat, the women’s team of Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal - Jayashri Ahir, Priyanshi Jadeja, Nayana Padhiyar, Asmita Chavda, Bhumika Gondaliya, and Mamta Thakor - won the Bronze Medal by defeating Tamil Nadu in the third-place match.

            Staff of our organization Rasilaben Hirani and Dilip Pandav successfully completed the Level One Referee Course and served as referees during the tournament.

                Guidance from Nirav Dake (Women’s Team Coach and Player), Shankarbhai Prajapati (Men’s Team Coach), and Bhaktiben Trivedi (Women’s Team Coach) played an important role.

            Secretary Shri Himanshu Sompura served as a member of the organizing committee.

             Congratulations were conveyed by President Shri Vinodbhai Kanji Gada, Vice President Shri Hiralal R. Chawla, General Secretary Shri Laljibhai Prajapati, Treasurer Shri Zinabhai Dabasiya, Secretary Shri Vanrajsinh Jadeja, Shri Himanshu Sompura, and Divyang Sports Joint secretary Shri Devarambhai Dhila.
