 13/08/2025: JANMASHTAMI FESTIVAL CELEBRATED WITH JOY AND DEVOTION

Janmashtami was celebrated with great joy and devotion by differently-abled children at Divyang Vidya Vihar, managed by Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal. Students participated in the traditional Matki Phod competition and reenacted the childhood activities of Lord Krishna with enthusiasm.

             The atmosphere became devotional when special guests helped swing Lord Krishna’s ParnaJhula. Children from Divyang Vidhya Vihar and Divyang Kanyakunj impressed everyone with their confidence.

            The children were encouraged and rewarded by Mrs. Parulben Kara, President of the Inner Wheel Club of Lotus Madhapar, along with Dr. Mataben Bhatt, Archanaben, Jayshriben, Falguniben, and Kailashben. Dr. Rupaliben Morbia also contributed significantly to the success of the programme. Winners of school sports events were honoured by Mrs. Vishwaben Dhal, President of the Inner Wheel Club of Flamingos Bhuj, along with Artiben Shah and Pravinaben Buddhbhatti.

            To make the occasion memorable, Secretary Shri Himanshubhai Sompura, Treasurer Shri Zinabhai Dabasiya, Trustees Shri Jadavjibhai Vekariya, Shri Khimjibhai Vekariya, Shri Harjibhai Lachhani, and Shri Damjibhai Oza, Chief Coordinator Shri Dipakprasad, and all staff members remained present. Trustee Shri Jadavjibhai Vekariya announced a cash prize of Rs. 5,000 for Matki Phod participants. The Programme was smoothly organized by Teacher Ms. Divyaben.

֎ 16/06/2024: ATHLETICS STATE LEVEL COMPETITION FOR THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED

            The Department of Sports, Youth, and Cultural Activities, along with the Sports Authority of Gujarat Gandhinagar, organized state-level special athletics competition under the Khel Mahakumbh. This event was jointly hosted by the District Sports Development office, Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal Madhapar, and Navchetan Divyang Sports and Cricket Academy at Krishna Sports Ground, Madhapar.           The Khel Mahakumbh featured special competitions across 29 districts in Gujarat, with approximately 450 visually impaired athletes participating. Competitions included events such as the 100-meter run, long jump, shot put, discus throw, and javelin throw for age groups above and below 18.
