15/02/2026: SPIRITUAL FERVER MARKS MAHA SHIVRATRI CELEBRATIONS AT BHACHAU OLD AGE HOME

         The Bhachau Old Age Home, a unit of Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal, resonated with profound spiritual energy as residents celebrated the auspicious festival of Maha Shivratri with great devotion and religious spirit. The day was dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva, bringing immense joy and a sense of peace to the elderly residents.

          The celebrations commenced early in the morning at approximately 8:00 AM. Residents were escorted to the local Mahadev temple, where they participated in traditional rituals. The elders offered heartfelt prayers and sought the divine blessings of Lord Shiva, marking a serene start to the holy occasion.

          The atmosphere grew even more vibrant in the evening as a dedicated programme of Bhajans and devotional songs was organized within the premises. The residents participated with high spirits, chanting “Har Har Mahadev.” The collective voices and rhythmic hymns transformed the campus into a sanctuary of holiness and positive energy.

          In keeping with sacred traditions, all elderly residents observed a fast throughout the day. Following the conclusion of the evening prayers and musical programme, Bhang Prasad was distributed to all participants. The entire event was a testament to the enduring faith of the residents, making the Maha Shivratri celebration a memorable and spiritually uplifting experience for everyone involved.

֎ 16/06/2024: ATHLETICS STATE LEVEL COMPETITION FOR THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED

            The Department of Sports, Youth, and Cultural Activities, along with the Sports Authority of Gujarat Gandhinagar, organized state-level special athletics competition under the Khel Mahakumbh. This event was jointly hosted by the District Sports Development office, Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal Madhapar, and Navchetan Divyang Sports and Cricket Academy at Krishna Sports Ground, Madhapar.           The Khel Mahakumbh featured special competitions across 29 districts in Gujarat, with approximately 450 visually impaired athletes participating. Competitions included events such as the 100-meter run, long jump, shot put, discus throw, and javelin throw for age groups above and below 18.
