19/02/2026: MATRUBHASHA MAHOTSAV 2026: DIVYANG STUDENTS CELEBRATE THE RICH HERITAGE OF GUJARATI AND KUTCHI LANGUAGES
In a vibrant tribute to
linguistic diversity and cultural roots, the Matrubhasha Mahotsav was successfully
organized at the Navchetan Andhjan Mandal (Divyang Kanyakunj) campus. This
unique initiative, dedicated to fostering a love for literature among girls
with disabilities, was jointly hosted by the Shri Sharda Sanskriti Trust and
the Gujarat Sahitya Academy, Gandhinagar.
The
festival saw enthusiastic participation from students of Class 6 to 12. Through
various creative performances, the students beautifully showcased the aesthetic
depth and cultural nuances of both the Gujarati and Kutchi languages. The event served as a platform to demonstrate that physical
challenges are no barrier to expressing one’s cultural identity and literary
passion.
