24/12/2025 : CELEBRATING ACHIEVEMENT AND BELONGING: ALUMNI MEET OF FORMER DIVYANG STUDENTS

                           As part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal, Madhapar, a warm and memorable alumni gathering of Divyang students who once studied in  the institution’s  school   and hostel was  organized  on  24 December 2025. The event  brought together nearly 100  former  students  with remarkable professional achievements, creating an atmosphere filled with pride, nostalgia, and inspiration.

                The program began with the greeting of alumni by Shri Shashikantbhai Vekariya of Vascroft Foundation U.K., whose family has been associated with Navchetan across three generations.

            Addressing the gathering, the Secretary of our organization, Himanshubhai Sompura, explained the purpose of the event and reflected on the institution’s journey. He expressed deep pride in the accomplishments of former students and reaffirmed the institution’s mission of empowering Divyang individuals to become confident and meaningful contributors to society.

            The Treasurer of the institution, Zinabhai Dabasiya, extended a heartfelt welcome to the guests and alumni. Former students who have secured government employment and built distinguished careers in various fields were felicitated with momentos by Shri Laljibhai M Prajapati, General Secretary of our organization Shri Shashikantbhai Vekariya of Vascroft Foundation; Secretary Himanshubhai Sompura, Treasurer Shri Zinabhai Dabasiya, Trustee Shri Damjibhai Oza, Shri Khimjibhai Vekariya, Chief Coordinator Shri Dipakprasad and Shri Narendrabhai Dabasiya.

            The gathering not only celebrated achievements but also strengthened the lifelong bond between the institution and its alumni.

֎ 16/06/2024: ATHLETICS STATE LEVEL COMPETITION FOR THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED

            The Department of Sports, Youth, and Cultural Activities, along with the Sports Authority of Gujarat Gandhinagar, organized state-level special athletics competition under the Khel Mahakumbh. This event was jointly hosted by the District Sports Development office, Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal Madhapar, and Navchetan Divyang Sports and Cricket Academy at Krishna Sports Ground, Madhapar.           The Khel Mahakumbh featured special competitions across 29 districts in Gujarat, with approximately 450 visually impaired athletes participating. Competitions included events such as the 100-meter run, long jump, shot put, discus throw, and javelin throw for age groups above and below 18.
