School Sports Festival Held at Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal: Disable and Non-Disable Students Give Outstanding Performances

A grand school sports festival was organized at Divyang Vidya
Vihar and Divyang Kanyakunj for students from Balvatika to Grade 12, as well as
college students. Students with visual impairment, orthopedic disabilities,
intellectual disabilities, hearing impairment, autism, and thalassemia, along
with non-disable students, participated enthusiastically and showcased their
sporting spirit, confidence, and talent.
Various competitions were organized as part of the sports
festival, including Passing the Ball, Lemon-and-Spoon Race, Running Race, Shot
Put, Discus Throw, Long Jump, Softball Throw, and Wheelchair Hurdles. Students
participated enthusiastically in every event and won appreciation for their
performances. The main objective of the sports festival was to develop physical
fitness, self-confidence, discipline, cooperation, and a spirit of healthy
competition among the students, which was successfully achieved.
To encourage the students, Smt. Sharadaben Thakkar, President of
Innerwheel Club of Bhuj Flamingo; Secretary Bhairviben; CC Varshaben Thakkar;
and Member Pravinaben Buddhbhatti were present and offered inspiration and best
wishes to the children. Students who secured first, second, and third positions
in the competitions were awarded prizes and felicitated with the support of
Mitaben Dhundhali, Member of Innerwheel Club of Bhuj Flamingos, and Avniben
Dodia and Urviben Barvana, Members of Giants Group of Bhuj Saheli.
On the occasion, Aabhaben from Lalan College and CRC Co-Ordinator
Shri Rameshbhai Gagal were also present. The teaching staff of the organization
made significant contributions to the planning, coordination, and arrangements
to ensure the successful conduct of the entire sports festival.
At the conclusion, General Secretary Shri Laljibhai Prajapati, Secretary Shri Himanshubhai Sompura, Treasurer Shri Jinabhai Dabasiya, and Chief Co-Ordinator Shri Dipakbhai Prasad expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the dignitaries, donors, and supporters present and congratulated everyone on the successful completion of the sports festival.
