⩥ 10/04/2023 to 28/04/2023: Summer camp of disable children

         The summer camp for disabled children at Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal was a resounding success, achieving its aim of promoting a sporting culture and identifying talent amongst the attendees. Over 100 boys and girls participated in the camp, which ran from April 10th to April 28th, 2023.

A wide range of sports activities were organized during the camp, including fitness training, running, long jump, high jump, cricket, football, badminton, volleyball, skating, and swimming. The students received expert training from Special Educator Mr. Shankar Prajapati, Sandip Trivedi, Naimesh Patel, Dilip Pandav, Bhakti Trivedi, with support from teachers at Divyang Vidhya Vihar and Divyang Kanyakunj.

In addition to sports activities, the students enjoyed a tracking excursion to nearby “Bhujiyo Dungar” and visited the exhibition at the Swaminarayan temple in Bhuj. The summer camp was organized under the guidance of General Secretary Mr. Laljibhai Prajapati, Secretary Mr. Himanshu Sompura, and Treasurer Mr. Zinabhai Dabasiya.

            This summer camp provided a valuable boost to the morale of all the students and gave them the confidence to participate in upcoming tournaments. The students had a great time learning new skills and making new friends. We hope that future camps will be organized to continue promoting a sporting culture among disabled children.

Khel Mahakumbh – 2019. Total 28 Disable students of our organization participated in different game such as Wheelchair Hurdle, Shotput throw, High Jump, 100 m. Run etc. in which   Gangal Gourika, Rabari Ridhi, Chaudhary Prakash, Rabari Lala and Karotra Gopal winners.

֎ 31/07/2024 : THREE CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES FROM OUR ORGANIZATION WON NACHIKETA AWARD

            Three children with disabilities from our Secondary and Higher Secondary school, managed by Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal, received the Nachiketa Award from the Oasis organization in Baroda. The award ceremony featured participants Ayar Jayashri Valabhai, Tank Dhyan Hiteshbhai, and Gangal Gaurika Maheshbhai, who competed alongside their non-disabled peers and were honored with cash prizes and books from the organizers. Our General Secretary, Mr. Laljibhai Prajapati, Secretary Mr. Himanshu Sompura, Treasurer Mr. Zinabhai Dabasiya, along with the trustees and staff, extended their congratulations to all the winners.
