25/12/2023: ANNUAL FUNCTION – 2023
The 48th Annual
function of Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal was held at the Divyang Vidhya Vihar
Campus. The program commenced with a prayer by the disabled students, followed
by a welcome song and Divyang girls presenting Kumkum Tilak to the guests. The
guests were honored with shawls and mementoes. Mr. Laljibhai Prajapati, the
General Secretary of our organization, delivered a welcome speech. The program
was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Mr. Pravinbhai Karaman Gala, Lower
Parel – Mumbai, Mr. Rameshbhai Vijpar Nishar, Mr. Vinodbhai K Shah (Gada) -
President of our organization, Mr. Hiralal Chawla - Vice President, Mr.
Shashikantbhai Vekaria - Vascroft Foundation UK, Mr. Kishorbhai Nardani of
Friends of Kera – UK & Mr. Dipakbhai Vora - CEO The IOSys of Gandhidham,
Mr. Nareshbhai Chauhan - Social Defense Officer, Dr. Krunalbhai Joshi – Blind
“Kathakar” and other dignitaries.
Dr. Krunalbhai Joshi delivered a spiritual
speech, while Mr. Laljibhai Prajapati, General Secretary of our organization,
gave a welcome speech and Mr. Himanshubhai Sompura, Secretary, provided details
of the activities carried out by our organization along with last year's
achievements.
Mr. Devangbhai Gadhavi received the Late
Champshibhai D. Nandu Memorial award 2023 for being the best blind Music
Teacher. Mr. Deepakbhai Pithava was honored with the Late Karsan M. Vekaria
Memorial award-2023 for his outstanding work in the field of persons with
disabilities in Gujarat.
Our organization's employees, Ms. Rimaben Bhatia,
Ms. Nilamben Chhuchhiya, Mr. Chandubhai Jambucha, and Mrs. Jagrutiben Goswami
were also awarded for their outstanding work in 2023 with the Bhanukant L.
Thacker, Late Kuvarji Velji Lachhani, Late Karsan L. Vekariya, and Late
Radhaben G. Dabasiya awards respectively.
A cultural program was presented by the disabled
children, and an inspirational speech was given by Chandniben Vora of Vascroft
Foundation UK.
On this occasion, donations were made by various
individuals and organizations such as ₹. 51
lakhs were donated by Mr. Pravinbhai Karaman Gala, ₹. 11 lakhs by Mr. Rameshbhai Vijpar Nishar, ₹. 10 lakhs by Mr. Shashikantbhai Vekaria of
Vascroft Foundation UK, ₹. 10 lakhs by Mr.
Hareshbhai Bhudia of International Seva Trust – UK & ₹. 8 Lakhs by Mr. Kishorbhai Nardani of Friends of
Kera – UK. Totaling ₹. 90 lakhs.
The entire program was managed by Rimaben Bhatia
and Madhviben Dave, and the Chief Coordinator Deepak Prasad gave a vote of
thanks.
On this occasion, the executive members of the
organization, Secretary Mr. Vanrajsinh Jadeja, Mr. Jadavjibhai Vekaria, Mr. Hothuji
Jadeja, and Mr. Manojbhai Joshi, all employees, disabled children, elderly
people, and parents were present.
