“Raksha Bandhan,” a festival celebrating the divine bond
between brothers and sisters, was joyously observed at Divyang Vidhya Vihar.
The girls of Divyang Kanya Kunj tied rakhis, a symbol of brotherly love, to the
boys of Divyang Vidhya Vihar. They also tied rakhis to the General Secretary of
our organization, Mr. Laljibhai Prajapati, Secretary Mr. Himanshu Sompura,
Treasurer Mr. Zinabhai Dabasiya, Trustees Mr. Harjibhai Lachhani and Mr.
Khimjibhai Vekariya, as well as Chief Coordinators Mr. Dipakprasad and staff
members. The children who won the Rakhi competition were encouraged and
received prizes from Divyang Kanyakunj Coordinator Rimaben Bhatia.
Rakshabandhan was also celebrated jointly at our Vrudhashram
Bhachau and the Rotary Club of Bhachau. Secretary Mr. Natubha Sodha, Secretary
of our organization Mr. Vanrajsinh Jadeja, PI of Bhachau Police Station Mr.
Khambhala Saheb, PSI Mr. Gamar Saheb, Ushmaben, and police staff were present.
All the guests gave speeches highlighting the importance of Rakshabandhan and
exchanged greetings. The elderly women of our Vrudhdhashram welcomed the guests
and tied rakhis.
