֎ 29/01/2025: GOOD PERFORMANCE BY THE PLAYERS OF THE INDIAN BLIND FOOTBALL COMPETITION AT BANGALORE

       The Indian Blind Football organized the Blind Football League Season Two in Bangalore, in which both teams of our organization participated. There were five teams each in the boys' team and the girls' team, including Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Arunachal Pradesh. Both teams of our organization performed very well, and Luhar Rozina from the girls' team received the Emerging Player Award. Kalpeshbhai Patel, Dilipbhai Pandav, Mansiben Joshi and Rasilaben Hirani went as mentors.

 26/01/2025: CELEBRATION OF 77TH REPUBLIC DAY

       In a heartwarming display of patriotism and unity, the 77 th Republic Day was celebrated with great fervor at Divyang Kanyakunj, bringing together over 400 disabled children, dedicated teachers, staff, and esteemed trustees for a memorable event.             The inspiring occasion saw a proud moment as a Para Olympian girl from Divyang Kanyakunj took the honor of hoisting the National Flag, symbolizing the indomitable spirit of determination and resilience. Mr. Laljibhai Prajapati, Secretary of the organization Mr. Himanshubhai Sompura, delivered a rousing speech, instilling motivation and inspiration among the attendees. ֎ 14/01/2025: CELEBRATION OF KITE FESTIVAL

            The Kite festival was celebrated at Divyang Vidhya Vihar, Divyang Kanyakunj, ITC/DRC, and Old Age Home Bhachau. The students enjoyed flying kites. On the occasion of "Aapnu Ghar" charter day, a cultural event was organized at Madhapar. The girls of Divyang Kanyakunj presented a dance from "Mahabharat" which was well appreciated by the audience. The students were awarded cash prizes for their performance.

֎ 11/01/2025: MUSIC AND FOLK SONG COMPETITION AT SAMATRA - PARTICIPATION BY THE CHILDREN OF SANSTHA

  A music and folk song competition was organized by the Kutch Andh Apang Utkarsh Mandal on January 11, 2025, at Samatra. About 10 students from our school participated in it. In the junior category, Gadhvi Jigar secured the first position, and Ahir Prachi secured the second position. Maheshbhai Chudasama went as a mentor.

֎ 05/01/2025: NAVCHETAN GIRLS CAPTIVATE VALSAD TALENT FESTIVAL

         The Navrang Talent Festival in Valsad saw twelve girls from Divyang Kanyakunj shine in the dancing category, securing first place. They were honored with trophies, medals, and cash prizes, with Janviben Prajapati serving as their mentor.

֎ 04/01/2025: NAVCHETAN STUDENTS TRIUMPH AT READING COMPETITION

       On Louis Braille's birthday, Kutch Andh Kalyan Samiti organized a Braille reading competition, where students from Divyang Kanyakunj and Divyang Vidyavihar excelled. Gadhvi Jigar, Dangar Om, and Luhar Rozina secured top positions, receiving prizes and encouragement. The event was supported by dedicated teachers.

֎ 02/01/2025 TO 03/01/2025 & 29/01/2025 11/01/2025 TO 30/01/2025: SKILL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS ON ACCESS TECHNOLOGY FOR BLIND WOMEN

            Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal, with support from AICB, conducted two phases of the Skill Development Workshop on Access Technology for Blind Women at V D Parekh Andh Mahila Vikas Gruh, Rajkot in January 2025. The first phase (2nd–3rd January) trained 30 blind women on smartphone basics, assistive applications like Smart on Vision and Insta Reader, and digital literacy. Experts, including Mr. Himanshu Sompura, Mrs. Bharti Chavda, Mr. Sandip Rami, Mr. Kishor Maheshwari, Ms. Rima Bhatia led hands-on sessions. The second phase (29th–30th January) advanced to online shopping, food delivery, banking, and AI tools like ChatGPT and Google Gemini AI. Practical demonstrations helped participants navigate real-life applications. Certificates were awarded, and participants expressed confidence in using technology for daily independence. ֎ 31/12/2024: NAVCHETAN ATHLETES EXCEL AT STATE PARA ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIP

       The 47 th   State Level Para Athletics Championship for Divyang Para Athletes was organized by the Association of Gujarat at the Nikol Sports Complex, Ahmedabad. A total of 480 players from 33 districts across Gujarat participated, along with five boys and four girls from Shri Navchetan Mandal. They participated in various competitions such as 100-meter race, shot put, discus throw, and javelin throw, and gave their outstanding performance. Chaudhary Rakshaben and Maru Kailashbhai went as assistants, along with mentors.  

֎ 26/12/2024 TO 28/12/2024: NAVCHETAN TEAMS SHINE AT GOALBALL CHAMPIONSHIP IN GONDIA (MAHARASHTRA)

  The Goalball Federation of India's National Goalball Championship in Gondia witnessed remarkable performances from Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal's teams. The girls' team reached the semi-finals, and the boys' team secured second place, both achieving significant milestones in their first championship appearance. The organization's leadership and staff congratulated the teams and coaches for their outstanding achievements.

֎ 25/12/2024: SHRI NAVCHETAN ANDHJAN MANDAL'S ANNUAL FESTIVITIES

                   Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal, Madhapar, which has been working in the field of welfare of persons with disabilities for the last 49 years, celebrated its 49 th annual festival at the organization's Divyang Vidhya Vihar. The program started with a prayer by the organization's differently-abled students. The differently-abled students welcomed the guests by performing a welcome song with akshat and Kumkum Tilak. Then, founder General Secretary of the organization Shri Laljibhai M. Prajapati, gave a verbal welcome to the guests and honored the present guests with shawls and symbols. After that, all the guests inaugurated the newly built e-pub center by lighting the lamp. ֎ 22/12/2024: DIVYANG SPORTS FESTIVAL CELEBRATES ABILITIES

  For the past nineteen years, Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal and Friends of Kera UK have been dedicated to the holistic development of Divyang through initiatives like the Divyang Sports Festival. This year, in collaboration with Kutchmitra Daily, the festival was held at Sahajanand Sports Club Baladiya, attracting 1900 Divyang players from 22 organizations and 60 IEDSS/IED clusters. In a pioneering move, a cricket championship for Intellectual disable handicapped players was introduced, featuring 120 players from eight teams. The festival's inauguration saw a vibrant march past with 1700 participants, followed by a prayer and welcome song by Navchetan students. Social Defence Officer Shri Nareshbhai Chauhan and Kishorbhai Nardani of Friends of Kera UK addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of such events. Secretary Mr. Himanshubhai Sompura praised the efforts of all involved and appealed for support to enhance sports facilities.

֎ 14/12/2024 TO 15/12/2024 & 11/01/2025 TO 12/01/2025: SKILL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS ON ACCESS TECHNOLOGY FOR BLIND WOMEN AT MADHAPAR

  Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal, with the support of All India Confederation of the Blind (AICB), successfully conducted two phases of the Skill Development Workshop on Access Technology for Blind Women at Divyang Vidya Vihar, Madhapar. The first phase (14th–15th December 2024) introduced 18 visually impaired women from Kachchh, Anand, Bhavnagar, and Jamnagar to smartphone basics, assistive applications like Smart On in Vision and Insta Reader, and essential digital skills. The sessions were led by experts, Mr. Himanshu Sompura, Mrs. Bharti Chavda, Mr. Sandip Rami, Mr. Kishor Maheshwari, Mr. Kailash Maru, and Ms. Rima Bhatia providing hands-on training tailored to their needs. ֎ 08/12/2024: NAVCHETAN STUDENTS EXCEL AT NATIONAL ASSOCIATION BHUJ CHESS TOURNAMENT

  The National Association Bhuj hosted an open chess tournament for visually impaired players, where seven students from Divyang Vidhya Vihar, managed by Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal Madhapar, showcased their strategic prowess. Khodiyar Shlok was celebrated as the best player, receiving a special prize, and all participants were encouraged with awards presented by distinguished guests. The entire tournament was a captivating display of skill and mental agility. The event was supported by assistant teacher Dake Niravbhai.

֎ 02/12/2024: STATE-LEVEL BLIND FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT CAPTIVATES KUTCH

       Under the joint patronage of Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal Madhapar and Kutchmitra Daily, with the invaluable financial support of Friends of Kera UK and State Bank of India Bhuj Branch, the third All Gujarat Visually Impaired Football Competition kicked off at M.S.V. High School, Madhapar. This landmark event saw ten teams—seven men's and three women's—from across Gujarat, including Kutch, Ahmedabad, Anand, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, Surat, and Valsad, compete in a remarkable display of skill and resilience. The competition, designed to level the playing field for completely blind athletes, featured blindfolds and a 20x40 meter field equipped with rattles. ֎ 01/12/2024: NAVCHETAN STUDENTS SHINE AT RAYDHANPAR SPORTS MEET

            In a vibrant display of athleticism and determination, twenty-four students from Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal's Divyang Vidya Vihar and Divyang Kanyakunj delivered an exceptional performance at the 35th All Kutch Divyang Sports Festival, hosted by Kutch Vikas Trust at Raydhanpar. The event, dedicated to visually and orthopedically challenged individuals, witnessed our students participating in a diverse range of sports, proving that spirit knows no bounds. The accolades poured in as Rabari Gita clinched first place in shot put, Buchiya Viram showcased strength in tug of war, and Chaudhary Prakash triumphed in the single crutch race. ֎ 23/11/2024: GET TOGETHER AND GENERAL MEETING

            At the beginning of the new academic session, following the Diwali vacation, a general meeting of staff and trustees was organized at Divyang Kanyakunj. The gathering was attended by General Secretary of our organization Mr. Laljibhai Prajapati , Secretary Mr. Himanshubhai Sompura, Treasurer, Mr. Zinabhai Dabasiya; and trustees Mr. Harjibhai Lachhani, Mr. Jadavjibhai Vekariya, and Mr. Damjibhai Oza. Mr. Himanshubhai Sompura offered Diwali blessings and motivated the staff for the upcoming programs. The General Secretary delivered a motivational and inspirational speech outlining the roadmap for the organization's development program.  

֎ 23/11/2024: TRIBUTE TO LATE MR. ARJANBHAI K. VEKARIYA “ DEATH ANIVERSARY ”

                        On the occasion of the 11th death anniversary of our former Vice President, the late Mr. Arjanbhai K. Vekariya, a memorial event was held at the Divyang Kanyakunj Campus of Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal. The General Secretary of our organization, Mr. Laljibhai Prajapati, along with Secretary Mr. Himanshubhai Sompura, Treasurer Mr. Zinabhai Dabasiya, and Trustees Mr. Harjibhai Lachhani, Mr. Jadavjibhai Vekariya, and Mr. Damjibhai Oza, paid tribute to Mr. Arjanbhai Vekariya by offering. Mr. Zinabhai Dabasiya provided a brief introduction to the life and contributions of the late Mr. Arjanbhai K. Vekariya. ֎ 29/10/2024 TO 03/11/2024: CELEBRATION OF DIWALI FESTIVAL BY ELDERLY PEOPLE OF SHRI NAVCHETAN ANDHJAN MANDAL BHACHAU.

       It's heartwarming to hear about the inclusive celebration of Diwali in Bhachau. It's wonderful that both disabled and non-disabled elderly people were able to come together and enjoy the festival. The provision of sweets, new clothes, and other facilities must have brought joy to all the participants. It's also great to hear that they greeted each other and wished each other a happy New Year. Mr. Vanrajsinh Jadeja's involvement and the greetings from the staff show a strong sense of community and togetherness. This kind of inclusive celebration sets a positive example for others to follow.

֎ 18/10/2024 TO 21/10/2024 : NATIONAL FOOTBALL COMPETITION FOR PARTIALLY VISUALLY IMPAIRED PLAYERS ORGANIZED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN INDIA

  A total of 8 states of India participated in the Football Championship 2024 for Visually Impaired Players, which was played for four consecutive days from 18/10/2024 to 21/10/2024. In which the players showed their special talent for four consecutive days, the Tamil Nadu team won the first place and received a gold medal, trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 50,000/-. The Arunachal Pradesh team won the second place and received a silver medal, trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 30,000, while the Meghalaya team won the third place and received a bronze medal and trophy. A closing ceremony was held at the end of the match to encourage and congratulate all the players. ֎ 15/10/2024: CELEBRATION OF WHITE CANE SAFETY DAY

            White Cane Safety Day was celebrated at Sammilit Kanya Primary School, managed by Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal, Madhapar. Principal Mrs Jalpaben Maru informed about the special day and informed that information was also given about modern equipment like smart stick and smart glasses. After that, the students and staff used smart sticks to do mobility.

֎ 15/10/2024: SHRADHANJALI PROGRAM OF LATE SHRI PRANSANKAR RAJARAM JOSHI

            The Shradhanjali program organized at Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal Bhachau on the 28 th death anniversary of Pransankar Raja ram Joshi was a solemn and respectful event. The program was attended by Shri Vanrajsinh R. Jadeja, Shri Babulal Joshi, son of Pransankar Bapa, as well as the inmates and staff of the organization. A two-minute silence was observed in honor of Pransankar Bapa, and everyone present paid their respects by offering Pushpanjali. It was a time for reflection and remembrance, as the community came together to honor the memory of a beloved individual.      

֎ 01/10/2024: CELEBRATION OF INTERNATIONAL DAY ON ELDERLY PEOPLE WITH GREAT DETERMINATION AN ENTHUSIASM.

The International Day of the Elderly people was observed at the old age home campus managed by Shri Navchetan Andhjan Mandal in Bhachau. To raise awareness about the issues faced by elderly people, an awareness rally was organized in the midtown area of Bhachau. In addition, various sports competitions such as kothla Dod, Shotput, Passing the Ball, Tug of war were specially organized for the elderly to commemorate the event.   the program began with a prayer by the children who came from the Divyang Vidhya Vihar and a welcome song was presented by the girls of Divyang Kanyakunj Madhapar.
